Churchill’s Last Stand – Felix Klos – Annual General Meeting

November 27, 2017 @ 11:30am

Please join us on Monday, November 27 to welcome our guest speaker Felix Klos.  He will address our Society on “Churchill’s Last Stand”.

Felix Klos will address our members on “Churchill’s Last Stand”, the ill-understood story of Churchill’s Campaign for European Union.  After the Second World War, with much of Europe in ruins, Churchill swore to build a peace across Europe that would last a generation.  Fighting against the new ‘Iron Curtain’ which had fallen across the world, and battling the personal disappointment of losing the 1945 election in Britain, Churchill dedicated the rest of his life to forging a united Europe.

Mr. Klos holds degrees from University of Oxford and Middlebury College.  He is a former Intern in the United States Senate and an International Office Intern for the progressive Dutch Liberal Democratic Party.
