Afghanistan and Pakistan: American Options? – Christine Fair – Annual General Meeting

Please join us on Monday, December 5 to welcome our guest speaker Christine Fair.  She will address our Society on “Afghanistan and Pakistan: American Options?“. 

Christine Fair is an associate professor in the Peace and Securities Study Program within Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.  She served as a political officer to the United Nations Assistance Mission to Afghanistan in Kabul and is a senior fellow with the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point.  Christine holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in South Asian Languages and Civilizations and speaks, reads and writes Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.

Ms. Fair is a prolific author and serves on the board of Current History, Small Wars and Insurgencies, Asia Policy, Studies in Conflict and Terrorism, and India Review.
